Hi I am Katie, I am the planner, stylist, coordinator & co owner of Coastal Elopes. Shannon and I started this business during covid to give couples an elopement/micro wedding alternative way to tie the knot during what was such a devastating time for the wedding industry, not to mention for the couples that had their weddings booked. Now, a few years on our small business has flourished and we are so proud to provide many packages, wedding services and partnerships with so many talented vendors .

As a little girl Ive always found weddings so magical and I always knew that somehow I would end up in this industry. Planning a wedding can be very daunting for a lot of people and it gives me so much joy being able to plan out all the intricate details and execute the best day of our couples lives.

Throughout my childhood I always enjoyed playing with a video camera and creating my own movies: my passion for cinematography and photography is endless. However, I did not immediately realise the strength of my passion for wedding photography and videography until I shot a friend’s wedding. I realised there’s just something about writing a love story and I love every moment of it.
