The 100-year-old Highgarden Estate is perched atop the eastern escarpment of Tamborine Mountain, offering rare and unparalleled views from Stradbroke Island to Byron Bay. The 25-acre property combines rainforests, manicured gardens, avocado orchards, and open lawns to create a truly unique setting.
The story of Highgarden Estate has seen many evolutions since its establishment in the early 1900’s. From its earliest days as a dairy farm it has produced fruit and nut orchards, housed an Arab horse stud and been the site of the first medical practice on Tamborine Mountain. Throughout its time the estate has played host to thousands of people who have walked through the open gardens and enjoyed concerts, weddings and many other events.
